AI Division

• Administration of AIAHL and its subsidiaries: Deals with general policy and administrative matters pertaining to AI Assets Holding Limited (AIAHL), managing appointments of the Chairman and Managing Director, Board members of AIAHL/subsidiaries, and appointing CEOs for the subsidiaries.
• Disinvestment Coordination: Managing matters relating to the disinvestment of AIAHL’s subsidiaries in coordination with the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM).
• Tax Matters of Air India: Handling tax claims of Air India for the pre-disinvestment period indemnified by the Government.
• Medical Scheme Implementation: Implementing the Ministry-formulated medical scheme for eligible retired/retiring employees of Air India, AIASL, and AIESL.
• Financial Support: Facilitating budgetary and financial allocations for servicing NCDs, asset monetization, tax indemnifications, and retiree medical claim reimbursements.
