Launched by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, the UDAN Yatri Café initiative offers affordable and quality food and beverages to air passengers. The initiative was inaugurated at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport, Kolkata, on 19 December 2024. It aims to enhance passenger convenience and promote inclusive, value-for-money air travel by making essential refreshments available at affordable prices transparently displayed at airports.

With the growth in air travel, passengers are required to report well in advance of their flights, resulting in considerable waiting time at airport terminals. FLYBRARY aims to provide opportunities for intellectual engagement and recreational reading during this waiting period.
